This Atlanta Neighborhood Is Home To Some Of The Best Happy Hour Deals
As if finding a budget-friendly Happy Hour in Atlanta wasn’t already tough, once you factor in traffic, lack of parking, and those dreaded grass walls, it really becomes a chore. Well, my friend, I suggest that you venture just a teeny bit outside of the city to Avondale. This up-and-coming neighborhood is home to luxe apartment buildings, quirky thrift shops, and plenty of places to get your drink on. And are you ready for the best part? In addition to stellar drink specials, Avondale is also an open container area (here’s a map).
Have I got your attention yet? If so, here are my picks on where you can find the best drink specials in Avondale.
Anansi
Since arriving in Avondale a couple of years ago, Anansi has become quite the force. Just ask, TikTok. Although quaint, this cocktail lounge is packed with charm. Aesthetics are on point, the playlist is just right, and the cocktails are perfectly concocted. And thanks to their newly-launched Social Hour, you can save big on a variety of classic cocktails, including the French 75 (my go-to!), Old Fashioned, Sidecar, and Daiquiri. Social Hour takes place Monday through Friday, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., and during that time you can get the cocktails mentioned and more for $9.
Red Lobster’s New Happy Hour Will Include $5 Drinks & Discounted Appetizers
Happy Hour is coming to Red Lobster, and as a Cheddar Bay Biscuit aficionado I couldn’t be more thrilled. The once-floundering seafood restaurant has started implementing some major changes since a new CEO stepped in and I think this new Happy Hour could really bring back customers who’ve shifted away from the restaurant in recent years.
The Happy Hour menu starts today and is available Monday through Friday from 3 P.M. to 6 P.M. at participating restaurants. On the menu, you’ll find boozy faves like the Top-Shelf Long Island Iced Tea and Tito’s Twisted Strawberry Lemonade. And they’re available for just $5! For far too long, I’ve gone to Happy Hours that aren’t that too happy on the pockets, so I’m absolutely loving the $5 price point.
