Red Lobster’s New Summer Cocktails Include a Tropical Long Island and a Guava Margarita

BEFORE YOU SIP
Red Lobster is kicking off summer with three new cocktails: the Guava Chili Margarita, Nauti Peach Long Island, and Lobster Punch.
The seasonal lineup delivers a mix of savory, fruity, and boozy flavors, though some fans may find the drinks less exciting than competitors' latest releases.
Although we’re still a few days out from summer, restaurants have slowly started to unveil new seasonal sips. Among the restaurants with a new roster of summer cocktails is Red Lobster. The beloved seafood spot recently dropped three new cocktails: Guava Chili Margarita, Nauti Peach Long Island, and Lobster Punch.
With these latest additions to the Red Lobster menu, you’re getting a little bit of everything—from savory to boozy to fruity.
Below, you’ll find a detailed description of each cocktail:
Guava Chili Margarita - Espolon Blanco Tequila, Cointreau, and guava with a Tajin rim and fresh lime.
Nauti Peach Long Island - Smirnoff Vodka, Gordon’s Gin, Bacardi Rum, and peach. Garnished with fresh lemon and a cherry.
Lobster Punch - Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum and Malibu Coconut Rum with pineapple and berry juices.
Oh! And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that Endless Shrimp is still going on at Red Lobster. The restaurant’s website says “ending soon,” so I’d jump on that ASAP.
Now back to the cocktails…I don’t know about y’all, but I’m a little bit disappointed in the selection. Red Lobster’s competitors have released some pretty impressive sips lately. In May, Chili’s dropped its Popping Boba Marg, which was a really fun addition to the menu. And Applebee’s “Poolio with Don Julio” margaritas, which have been going crazy viral on social media, are still available.
In the words of Kyle Cooke, “summer should be fun.” So I really wish Red Lobster would have given us a cute garnish or at least a creative cocktail or two.
What do you guys think? Am I being too harsh?
