Applebee’s fan-favorite DOLLARITA is returning on July 1, giving guests a full month to enjoy the $1 margarita made with tequila, triple sec, and lime.
Fans are celebrating the cocktail’s comeback on social media, while Applebee’s continues its viral drink streak with its pool-themed 'Poolio with Don Julio' margaritas.
You asked for it, and you got it. After a two-year hiatus, Applebee’s is officially bringing back its fan-favorite DOLLARITA cocktail. The drink will be returning to menus before you know it.
As its name suggests, the DOLLARITA is a $1 margarita that’s made with tequila, triple sec, and lime. The budget-friendly sip will be available beginning July 1 and you’ll have the entire month to get your hands on a DOLLARITA or two.
“An American original, the DOLLARITA has become a true cultural icon,” said Michelle Chin, chief marketing officer at Applebee’s, in a statement. “This July, we’re bringing it back - by overwhelming demand - for just $1, giving guests 21+ the perfect way to celebrate summer with unbeatable value at Applebee’s.”
Over on social media, fans of the restaurant are already calling the return of the DOLLARITA life-changing.
“And just like that I’m back to loving life again,” read one comment under Applebee’s Instagram post announcing the news.
“This is what life is all about,” another person chimed in.
Speaking of social media, Applebee’s recently went viral for its “Poolio with Don Julio” margaritas. The drinks are served in pool-shaped souvenir cups that you get to take home.
They’re available in two flavors: the Sunny Sipper Margarita and Belly Floppin’ Melon Margarita.
