Lance Bass and Joey Fatone Head to E! for New Mixology Competition ‘Cocktail Wars’

Well Netflix, you dragged your feet with season two of Drink Masters, and now boy band icons Lance Bass and Joey Fatone have swooped in with a mixology competition show of their own. As of this week, it’s officially confirmed that E! has greenlit Cocktail Wars, a new original mixology competition series.

The show is described as “a cocktail competition where the vibes are high, the drinks are strong, and the bragging rights are everything.”

The 10-episode series will be hosted by Lance Bass and Joey Fatone, and will debut this summer. During each episode, Lance and Joey will be joined by a series of celebrities and an expert judge.

“We’re excited to be part of Cocktail Wars and team up again for something this fun,” said Lance Bass and Joey Fatone in a statement. "With this much talent, a little competition, a lot of cocktails and just enough chaos to keep things interesting - that’s usually where we thrive."

I’m personally super excited to hear more about the show and who our competitors will be. It would definitely be fun to see a mix of amateur and professional mixologists to add a little extra excitement. I also can’t wait to see who our guest judges will be. Fingers crossed that cocktail queen Tiffanie Barriere makes an appearance!
