‘Real Housewives’ Alum Nene Leakes Releases New Tropical Rich Rum Punch—Here’s How to Buy It

If there’s one thing about Nene Leakes, it’s that she’s "VERY rich.” While you might not be on Nene’s levels of luxe, you can be “tropical rich” thanks to a boozy new product from the Real Housewives of Atlanta icon.
On social media this month, Leakes revealed that she collaborated with Quebec’s Cherry River Distillery on Tropical Rich Rum Punch, a ready-to-serve offering that’s described as “a defiant burst of paradise.” The bottle for Tropical Rich Rum Punch is a stunning ruby color and it’s topped with a gem-inspired cap.
If you’re curious about the taste, the label states that it’s a “rum with natural flavors and fruit juice.” So you can likely expect a pretty standard rum punch flavor. I do wish they added a little something extra on the flavor end. A peach rum punch would have been epic given Leakes’ former standing as a peach holder on Real Housewives of Atlanta.
How the partnership between Leakes and Cherry River came to be, I have no clue. But the reality star did have plenty of kind words for those at the distillery.
“I had no idea that this was a church. I love that it’s a church. This is so unique and so different. It’s just a blessing being here. I love that this family started from the bottom, started at zero, and now they’re on a hundred. I love it,” said Leakes in a video posted on Instagram.
To get your hands on a bottle of Tropical Rich Rum Punch, you’ll need to pre-order it online. You can purchase it on The Thirst Is Real website for $29.99, but there’s no word yet on when Cherry River will be shipping the bottles.
I mean, as long as I have a bottle before the rumored April premiere of the newest season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, I’m good!
