Jägermeister Just Released a Fruity New Summer Flavor—But It Won’t Be Here for Long

Jägermeister

When you think about the distinct flavor profile of the OG Jägermeister, it likely isn’t going to summon memories of warm, sun-drenched days. With notes of black licorice, anise, and citrus, Jägermeister is more reminiscent of a fireside nightcap than a poolside pour.

Well, that’s about to change now that Jägermeister has unveiled a summer-forward, new flavor. Earlier this week, the brand introduced Jägermeister Orange, a spirit that’s described as “a bright, citrus-forward twist on the original.” Heavy on the citrus, each bottle of Jägermeister Orange includes the oils of three Sicilian oranges.

For Jägermeister, they wanted to keep the focus on camaraderie with their latest addition.

"Jägermeister has always been about bringing people together," said Cindy Wang Simms, CMO, Jägermeister US in a statement. "With Jägermeister Orange, we're introducing a new flavor experience that captures that same spirit of connection and energy, now with a fresh citrus profile. Its' taste embodies the freedom and spontaneity of summer, whenever you want it."

If you’re able to get your hands on the limited-edition bottle, Jägermeister Orange is best enjoyed ice cold as a shot poured straight from the freezer. A bottle can be purchased for a suggested retail price of $22.99.
