Chipotle's Margarita Comeback Flopped, But You Can Still Get a $6 Marg Elsewhere

Chipotle is bringing back its $6 margaritas, but the limited-time deal is only coming to five cities—and for just two days in each location.
Don’t live in one of those cities? Here are a few other spots where you can still score a margarita without spending a fortune.
Chipotle, you have managed to do the unthinkable. In all my days, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many people upset over a margarita. Usually an ice cold marg is the source of joy, but not in this case.
After hinting at the return of its beloved $6 margaritas, Chipotle dropped the news that it would be bringing back the cocktail, but with a bit of a disappointing twist. This week, the restaurant announced that its $6 margaritas would be returning as part of a five-city tour dubbed the "Summon the Spirits Tour.”
So if you don’t live in Denver, New York, Dallas, New Orleans, or Los Angeles, you’re out of luck. On top of that, the $6 margaritas will only be available in each city for two days at one location. Be prepared for pretty frightening lines.
Needless to say, fans are heated.
“This was a horrible PR move especially on your social media teams part. Yall shouldn’t have been interacting with people in the comments as if it was coming back to all locations. smh,” one person on Instagram wrote.
“Yall mad weird for this. I’m irritated af,” read another comment.

Chili’s
When it comes to $6 margs, Chili’s is old faithful for me. The restaurant has famously dropped a different $6 margarita every few weeks as part of their Margarita of the Month program. And with the start of October around the corner, we’ll either be getting the return of one of my favorite drinks (Witches Brew Marg, pictured above) or a spooky new sip.
Applebee’s
Every now and then, Applebee’s brings back its Dollarita and subsequently breaks the internet. While the $1 margarita isn’t available now, it does seem to return when you least expect it. Holiday season maybe?
Your Favorite Mexican Restaurant
I mean, this is the one right here. Nothing hits harder than a frosty margarita and a side of warm chips and queso from your favorite Mexican restaurant. Here in Atlanta, my go to is La Parrilla. They sell a 12 oz. house margarita for just $6.99. And it might be even cheaper when they have specials. Also, Tacos and Tequilas in Midtown sells $7 house margaritas during Taco Tuesday.
