Chili’s September Margarita of the Month Is a Frozen First for the Restaurant—With a Tart Cherry Twist

Chili’s

BEFORE YOU SIP

  • The $6 Cherry Limeade Marg is made with el Jimador Blanco Tequila, Triple Sec, Monin Grenadine, house-made sour and Sprite, then finished with a citrus sugar rim, lime wedge, and cherries.

  • For the first time, you can also swirl the Cherry Limeade Marg with Chili’s Patrón Frozen Marg for $10.

Chili’s is shaking up something extra special for its September Margarita of the Month (MOTM). This month, thirsty diners will be getting two marg varieties. If you’re a die hard Chili’s MOTM fan, then you probably remember the restaurant’s Cherry Limeade Marg. Well, the cocktail is returning this month with two margaritas: an on the rocks option and a frozen option.

This time around, the $6 Cherry Limeade Marg is made with el Jimador Blanco Tequila, Triple Sec, Monin Grenadine, house-made sour, and Sprite. It’s then finished with a citrus sugar rim, lime wedge and two cherries.

And as an added bonus this month, for the first time ever you can get the Cherry Limeade Marg swirled with Chili’s Patrón Frozen Marg for $10. Some of my favorite margaritas from Chili’s (I’m looking at you Arctic Drift!) feature a frozen margarita swirl, so I’m really looking forward to the frosty version of the Cherry Limeade Marg.

We’ve had a pretty exciting lineup of Margaritas of the Month this year, so here’s a quick refresher on the margaritas we’ve had thus far:

  • January - Resolution Breaker Marg

  • February - Straweddy Marg

  • March - Lemon Drop Marg

  • April - Peachy Dream Marg

  • May - Popping Boba Marg

  • June - Cosmo Marg

  • July - Bombshell Marg

  • August - Shark Attack Marg

  • September - Cherry Limeade Marg

Anyone have a favorite from the list? Hands down for me it’s the Popping Boba Marg, but I’m very much looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring for Chili’s Margarita of the Month program.
