Blake Lively Just Gave NYC’s Most Famous Frozen Hot Chocolate A Boozy Makeover—Here’s How To Find It

I lived in New York City for nearly five years and I’m ashamed to say that in that time, I never had the chance to visit Serendipity3. A sweet staple since 1954, Serendipity3 is a whimsical restaurant known for its over-the-top desserts and famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate. Their frosty take on frozen hot chocolate is made from a secret blend of 14 different cocoas, milk, sugar and ice. The finished drink is then loaded with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. I’m still kicking myself for having never tried it.

Serendipity3 already serves several spiked versions of their Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, but the dessert just got a boozy upgrade thanks to actress Blake Lively. Lively’s sparkling canned cocktail and mocktail brands, Betty Booze and Betty Buzz have teamed up with the beloved NYC restaurant on a limited-edition holiday menu.

On the festive menu, you’ll find the Betty Booze "Bourbon Blizzard" Frrrozen Hot Chocolate—aka your new favorite way to stay merry. The boozy frozen hot chocolate features both bourbon and Betty Booze Sparkling Bourbon. It’s even served with a shot glass containing more Betty Booze Sparkling Bourbon if you need a little extra “oomf.”

Additional Betty Booze x Serendipity 3 menu items include the Betty Buzz Frrrozen Hot Chocolate and Betty Buzz “Fizz & Bubbles” Sparkling Grapefruit Ice Cream Float. The limited-time menu is available from now until December at both the Times Square and Upper East Side locations.
