TGI Fridays
I see you, TGI Fridays! After recently firing back at competitors on social media, the restaurant isn’t stopping there—they’ve just made a major announcement. Looks like chain restaurants are finally embracing the holiday pop-up trend: say “hello” to TGI Elf Days at TGI Fridays, a first-of-its-kind, immersive seasonal takeover. Beginning now, and lasting until January 25, select restaurant locations nationwide will be transformed into magical winter wonderlands. Diners can expect signature elves, interactive experiences, festive menus and over-the-top holiday décor.
“This season, we didn't just decorate – we went full-tilt Fridays, capturing the color and cheer of the holidays in a way that only we can,” said Ray Blanchette, Chief Executive Officer at TGI Fridays, in a statement. “TGI Elf Days is our invitation to step into something completely different this season — a place where every corner surprises you, every visit feels like a celebration, and every moment is worth sharing.”
The TGI Elf Days pop-up also boasts quite the merry cocktail lineup (you had me at Ho Ho Hennessy!). You’ll find a selection of seasonal sips, as well as zero-proof drinks on the menu. The festive cocktails TGI Fridays will be serving includes:
Jolly-Pom-A-Rita - This Pomegranate Margarita made with Don Julio Tequila and a splash of Cointreau is shaken and served merry.
Ho Ho Hennessy - The cocktail arrives in a holiday ornament for you to pour into your coupe with a sugar rim—Hennessy, Grand Marnier, lemon and cranberry.
Snowball Choco-Tini - Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka and Baileys Chocolate Martini crowned with a cotton candy “snowball.”
Santa’s Nightcap Shots & Cookies - Baileys + Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka + DeKuyper Amaretto + two warm chocolate chip cookies = Santa’s secret to surviving the season.
Big Kahuna Klaus - Bacardi Rum, Malibu Rum, Midori and island fruit make the ultimate tiki toast.
