Red Lobster’s New Menu Will Include Holiday Cocktails And Additional Seafood Boil Flavors
Red Lobster
With restaurants like TGI Fridays and P.F. Chang’s already rolling out their holiday offerings, I knew it was only a matter of time before one of my faves shared their seasonal selections. And sure enough, at the start of this week, Red Lobster announced an assortment of bold new menu items and festive holiday cocktails. I’m obviously most excited for the holiday cocktails, and this year, we’re getting two of them: Under the Mistletoe and Sugar Cookie Martini.
A perfect option for those who love a fruity bourbon beverage, Under the Mistletoe features Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon, cranberry juice and blackberry. The cocktail is then garnished with rosemary. Now, the Sugar Cookie Martini on the other hand, is my kind of drink. The dessert-forward cocktail is made with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, RumChata and Amaretto. And to keep things merry and bright, it features holiday sugar sprinkles on the rim.
Red Lobster diners will also be pleased to hear that the Snow Globe cocktail is returning this season. For those unfamiliar, the Snow Globe is a boozy combination of St-Germain Elderflower, Barefoot Moscato, white cranberry juice, sparkling gold shimmer and Starry soda. The cheery drink is then topped with cranberries.
Once you’ve worked up an appetite after a few sips of your Sugar Cookie Martini, there are plenty of new bites on the menu. Most importantly, Red Lobster is introducing not one, not two, but three new seafood boil flavors: Lemon Pepper Butter, Old Bay & Butter and RL Signature Butter. Additionally, the all-new Shrimp & Sausage Jambalaya and Shrimp Scampi Linguini will be joining the “Plenty Under $20” menu.
"Lobster Nation, we're turning up the flavor once again with all new seafood boil options that deliver big on taste," said Damola Adamolekun, Chief Executive Officer at Red Lobster, in a statement. "These new flavor additions reflect our commitment to bringing guests exciting, craveable dishes and giving them even more reasons to come together and celebrate around the table this season."
Between their festive cocktails and new seafood boil flavors, it’s safe to say Red Lobster understood the holiday assignment.
