Aubrey Plaza Just Declared That Margaritas Are Replacing Eggnog This Holiday Season—And I Have Thoughts

Dear everyone, let’s all just calm down for a second because what we’re not about to do is take my beloved eggnog from me. It’s not even November yet and we’re already choosing violence. In case you haven’t heard, actress Aubrey Plaza and Cointreau have announced that “eggnog is out, Margaritas are in.”

Now, I’ll be the first to tell you that margaritas are easily in my Top 5 Cocktails list. And yes, margs made with Cointreau are elite. Buttt, there’s something so special about a boozy eggnog when winter rolls around. That creamy decadence paired with the spicy bite of a bourbon or dark rum. Ughhh, so good. Despite that, Plaza still had some pretty bold words for eggnog.
