With the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival (AFWF) having kicked off yesterday at The Home Depot Backyard, it's set to be an exciting weekend for food and drink lovers here in The A. I had the chance to attend the festival kick off yesterday, and I made sure to sip my way through the fest so I could share a few of my faves. As someone who’s been to AFWF quite a few times, I have to admit that I was pretty impressed with the cocktail lineup this year.

And if you’re a fan of both fried chicken and beer, then there’s a festival you’ll absolutely want on your radar this fall. That piece of poultry paradise is the National Fried Chicken Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana. The festival, which is presented by Raising Cane’s, will will take place from October 2nd through October 4th at the New Orleans Lakefront.
