Crown Royal Just Dropped a Chocolate Flavored Whisky That Screams Fall

Don’t you just love the flavors of fall? We’re talking pumpkin spice, cinnamon, caramel—and yes, chocolate. So as a lover of all things fall, imagine my delight when I discovered that Crown Royal just announced that it’s releasing a new Chocolate Flavor Whisky. Boozy hot chocolate, anyone?? The decadent new flavor is described as flaunting aromas of vanilla, creamy chocolate and oak, as well as delicate hints of caramel and toffee.

The limited-edition Crown Royal Chocolate Flavored Whisky is set to take classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini to the next level. And apparently, the whisky is so versatile that it also pairs well with grapefruit juice, cola and lemonade. I’m a little skeptical about the combination of grapefruit and chocolate, but hey, I’ll try anything at least once.

Also, for all you bakers out there, I’d love to see how you incorporate Crown Royal Chocolate Flavored Whisky into some of your favorite baked goods this fall.

Crown Royal Chocolate Flavored Whisky will be available nationwide for a limited time beginning September 1. The whisky will have a suggested retail price of $26.99.
