So, I missed out on watching the Grammys last night, and instead tuned in to “The Walking Dead,” but I ended up catching a bunch of highlights on social media. Although there were tons of dope performances, there was one video in particular that stood out to me. And that was of Rihanna and her homegirl taking shots of their booze of choice (my guess would be whiskey) from a bedazzled flask.
This, my friends, is why Rihanna is absolute Booze Goddess goals. First off, she understands that with booze, sharing is caring. Sure, her dainty flask probably only held about four shots. She could have easily been stingy and chugged to her heart’s desire, but she was gracious enough to let her friend also get her sip on.
Also, RiRi understands the importance of BYOB. Listen, the Grammys are nearly four-hours long. Liquor. Is. Needed.
Lastly, leave it to Rihanna to turn a flask into the season’s must-have accessory. In fact, I would guess that Etsy is killing it today when it comes to bedazzled flask sales.
If you too want to channel your inner Booze Goddess, might I suggest my “Booze Over Boos” coffee mug? I’m currently accepting orders via PayPal. Feel free to reach out to me via email to place an order!
Last month, pop star and Lushworthy ambassador in my head, Rihanna shared her best hangover remedies during an interview with ELLE magazine. When asked what her best hangover cure is during her cover story with ELLE, Rih Rih replied with “Ice, Chinese food! And an upside-down trash can and towels, preferably next to the toilet.”
Ice definitely seems like a wise choice for a hangover cure, whether you need an ice pack for that throbbing headache or are in desperate need of a tall glass of water filled to the brim with ice. I can honestly (and surprisingly) say that I’ve never tried Chinese food as a hangover remedy. I’ve always heard that greasy foods help cure hangovers, but depending on the type (yes, type) of hangover, greasy takeout food might be the last thing I want to consume. But if our Lushworthy ambassador approves of it, then I’m willing to give it a shot.
I’m a little thrown off by the upside-down trash can remedy. Anyone willing to break that one down for me?
So I was browsing through my Instagram feed earlier today when a (very lucky) fellow writer posted a picture of mega-star Rihanna pouring Armand de Brignac champagne to fans and journalists joining her on the “777 Tour.” I had absolutely no idea what the “777 Tour” was before seeing the picture, but apparently Rihanna is hitting up seven countries in seven days for seven shows. Sounds like a hell of a lot, but I’m sure they’ve got plenty of champagne and other Lushworthy beverages to help them through this whirlwind of week. Check out just a few of the candid pictures from Rihanna and crew’s first “777 Tour” flight. (Pictures via Instagram)
