The Ciroc Mango Cocktails You Have To Make Before The End Of Summer

Ciroc Mango Cocktails

After receiving some bogus intel from rapper French Montana via Snapchat, it has now been confirmed that Ciroc Mango is the newest Ciroc flavor. Congrats to all you mango-loving, Ciroc sippers out there. Personally, the only tropical fruit flavor I really rock with is pineapple, but I can imagine that Ciroc Mango would make for some pretty tasty, end of summer cocktails. In fact, I’ve created a handful of Ciroc cocktails that I think will be a worthy addition to your Labor Day festivities, or any festivity for that matter.

It’s currently unclear when Ciroc Mango will be released, so for your convenience I’ve gone ahead and made recipe cards for my cocktails, so you can easily print and/or save them. Cheers!

Ciroc French Vanilla Is On The Way, According To French Montana

French Montana Vanilla Ciroc

I knew watching DJ Khaled on Snapchat at five in the morning would eventually pay off one day. In a recent Snap from DJ Khaled, which featured French Montana, the rapper revealed that Ciroc French Vanilla will be the newest flavor from the vodka brand.

“Look out for the new French Vanilla Ciroc,” French Montana says in the Snap.

I haven’t heard any news of Ciroc French Vanilla, so this is either super exclusive info or French is pulling our strings. Given that the rapper is a Ciroc Boy, it does seem somewhat believable. At the same time, his name is French Montana, so his comment could be a play on that.

Other flavors from Ciroc currently include Pineapple, Apple, Amaretto, Red Berry, Peach, and Coconut. If the news is true, how do you feel about French Vanilla as the newest Ciroc flavor?

Four Times Diddy’s Ciroc Promotion Was A Little Extra

Diddy Ciroc Promotion

Diddy a.k.a Puff Daddy rakes in some serious dough when it comes to Ciroc Vodka. Quite honestly, if my association with a brand brought in that much money, I’d be extra too. Thankfully though, Diddy has gifted us with some hilarious moments during the times when his promotion for the brand has gone a little left.

That Time He Became A Ciroc Tyrant…

During a club appearance in Atlanta, Georgia years ago, Diddy quite literally threatened to smack the taste (of vodka, I’m assuming) out of a Grey Goose drinker’s mouth for sipping on the competition. I guess you have to appreciate the man’s dedication. I guess…

That Time He Jumped Over A Bull…

Bad Boy Records founder turned vodka slinger turned bull wrangler? Well, not quite. In a video promoting Ciroc, a CGI Diddy swan-dived over a bull. Yes, swan-dived. Quite the elegant swan-dive too. Definitely a quirky, albeit extra way to promote the “perfectly smooth” Ciroc.

That Time Ciroc Time Traveled…

Although I can’t say that Diddy was fully behind this move, I will say that it takes guts to break the rules of space and time to promote your brand. During the premiere of VH1′s CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, bottles of Ciroc were spotted on the wall of a bar, during a scene with Left Eye. Only problem is the scene took place in the 90s, and Ciroc was reportedly introduced to the U.S. market in 2003.

That Time His “Downton Abbey” Spoof Featuring Ciroc Wasn’t Really Funny…

Err…better luck next time? Appearing as “the first black cast member” on “Downton Abbey,” Diddy poured rounds of Ciroc, expressed his love for numerous women, but didn’t really make us laugh [sad face].

Boozing With Willie: “The Penalty Flag” (Made Using Ciroc Pineapple & Bacardi Pineapple)

Penalty Flag

With the NFC and AFC titles now claimed, the stage is set for Super Bowl XLIX between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. Whether you’ll be rooting for the Seahawks or the Patriots one thing we can agree on is our desire to see a great game that’s decided by the players and not the officiating (ask Cowboys and Lions fans if you don’t understand what I’m getting at here).

With that in mind, ask yourself “Wouldn’t it be cool to take the power of penalization out of the officials hands and put it into the fans for a change?” If you answered “yes”, sober up like I had to and come to your senses. The Super Bowl would be absolute bedlam if we ran things. However, all hope isn’t lost, my friends…

Luckily, a byproduct of these thoughts was left behind and a drink was inspired, The Penalty Flag. A cocktail that’s a touchdown celebration in a collins glass. Perfect for sipping on come game day. It has pineapples, rum, vodka, cherries, and even a mini friggin’ penalty flag! Do yourself a favor, fix one of these on February 1st, grab some hot wings and enjoy yourself. Cheers!

INGREDIENTS

1 oz. Ciroc Pineapple
1 oz. Bacardi Pineapple Infused Rum
4 oz. Pineapple Juice
Maraschino Cherry Juice
Pineapple Wedge(s)
Maraschino Cherry
Mini Penalty Flag

DIRECTIONS

Combine pineapple vodka, rum and juice in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously (this will give it the frothy look seen in the picture). Strain this mixture into a chilled, ice filled collins glass. Drizzle some maraschino cherry juice into the mixture to give it a reddish tint. Garnish with a pineapple wedge, a maraschino cherry and mini penalty flag.

To create the penalty flag, simply cut a yellow piece of cloth about 1/4″ wide and double fold the strip in half. Wrap a small rubber band at the fold of the cloth to create a loop that a garnish pick can fit through.
