If you can’t already tell from my last recipe, I’m really having a great time mixing up drink recipes with Chambord. A raspberry liqueur straight out of France, Chambord is super versatile and tasty all on its own. It can be mixed with just about any spirit to create a Lushworthy concoction of your choosing.
For my latest recipe, I wanted to create a cocktail that was heavy on the spirits, instead of one heavy on a variety of mixers. I opted for Van Gogh Acai Blueberry Vodka and Chambord, and gave my drink a tart edge with the addition of fresh lemon juice. And since I wanted an extra ingredient that would provide a little pizzazz, I opted for chamomile bitters.
You can find the full recipe to my “Pretty In Purple” cocktail, below. Cheers!
1 oz. Chambord
1 oz. Van Gogh Acai Blueberry Vodka
Splash Of Lemon Juice
3 Drops Chamomile Bitters
Combine Chambord, Van Gogh Acai Blueberry Vodka, and lemon juice in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a coupe cocktail glass. Top with three drops of chamomile bitters. Garnish with lemon peel.
Can you believe how fast summer has gone? It’s hard to believe we’re already in the final weeks of barbecuing, pool hopping, and sipping on tropics-inspired cocktails. Since my love for summery cocktails runs deep, I created a special drink to help us bid adieu to the season. I call it the End Of Summer Fling. Cute, right? The spirits I’ve used for this particular cocktail are Grey Goose and Chambord.
I wanted to keep my creation relatively light, and I also wanted the flavor from the Chambord to really shine through, so I opted for Lemon La Croix and fresh lime juice to top off my cocktail.
Check out the full recipe to the “End Of Summer Fling,” below. And cheers to an awesome remainder of summer!
1 oz. Chambord
1 oz. Grey Goose
6 oz. Lemon La Croix
Lime Wheel Or Black Raspberries (For Garnish)
Add Chambord and Grey Goose to a glass with ice, and stir. Top with La Croix. Add more ice, if desired. Add a hearty squeeze of fresh lime. Garnish with lime wedge or black raspberries.
So I just got the memo about it being National Donut Day and I immediately scoured the internet in search of the coolest, donut-inspired cocktail and I found one! It’s the “Jam Donut” cocktail (more like a shot) and the recipe comes courtesy of DrinksMixer.com. With two main ingredients, Bailey’s Irish Cream and Chambord Liqueur, the “Jam Donut” cocktail seems pretty easy to make. Enjoy your National Donut Day and try not to go too crazy at Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’ Donuts today!
2/3 oz Bailey’s® Irish Cream
1/3 oz Chambord® Raspberry Liqueur
1 tsp Sugar Syrup
2 Pinches Sugar
Coat the rim of a shot glass with sugar using sugar syrup to stick. Add the Chambord raspberry liqueur to the shot glass, and carefully layer the Bailey’s Irish Cream on top.
While most of us unfortunately won’t have the opportunity to become a Victoria’s Secret runway model in our lifetime at least we can drink like we’re one. Following the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show which took place last week in New York City the Chambord cocktails were flowing at the event’s official after party at the new Dream Hotel and I’ve got the drink recipes for two cocktails served at the after party. In keeping with the theme of Victoria’s Secret and their fashion show the two cocktails, the “Raspberry Bombshell” and the “Dream Angel Martini,” are pink perfection.
Be sure to check out the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show when it airs on CBS on Tuesday, November 29th at 10/9C.
