Roses are red. Violets are blue. Wine and dine your boo or they’ll shade you.
Every year, couples flock to restaurants across Atlanta, looking to impress their significant other on Valentine’s Day. This particular feat can definitely prove costly, but it certainly doesn’t have to. In addition to their daily specials, a number of restaurants in the city will offer various, wallet-friendly promos for V-Day.
And if you’re looking to ball out on Valentine’s Day, I’ve also got you covered on that end.
Dinner & Drinks For Two Under $40
Tin Lizzy’s – Indulge in margaritas and tacos at Tin Lizzy’s this V-Day, which also serves as a #TacoTuesday and #TequilaTuesday hybrid. And if you’re looking to save even more dough on V-Day dinner, sign up for Tin Lizzy’s Cinco Club to save $5 on your next meal.
Calle Latina – If sangria and tacos are more your speed, Calle Latina offers an amazing special on both items on Tuesdays. You can indulge in sangria for $3 a glass and tacos for only $2 a pop.
Lure – Alright, enough talk about tacos. If you’re looking for something a little more high-end yet still within budget, Lure is offering a dozen oysters and two glasses of Cava wine for only $20 on Valentine’s Day. Can’t go wrong with bougie on a budget.
Cypress Street Pint And Plate – With $3 Buttery Nipple and Blow Job shots, the V-Day turn up will clearly be present at Cypress Street. You can also indulge in Valentine’s Day cocktails for only $5, and get your grub on with pub fries, sweet potato nachos, and other affordable bites. There will also be doughnut/craft beer pairings available. Oh! And for added ambiance, the entire restaurant will be lit by candlelight. (Shout out to them for being LIT both physically and metaphorically)
Dinner & Drinks For Two Over $100
La Tavola Trattoria – For Valentine’s Day, La Tavola is offering a special, 3-course prix fixe Italian dinner for $50 per person. Among the choices offered to diners are seared salmon, braised veal shank, and lamb scottadito. You can view their prix fixe dinner menu, here.
STK – A glass of Dom Perignon will run you $45 at STK, but when you’re noshing on signature bites like lobster mac & cheese and Lil’ BRGs (made with Wagyu beef), you deserve to sip on the best.
Eight Sushi Lounge – You can easily swing Eight Sushi Lounge for well under $100, but you need to order ALL of the food because it’s absolutely delicious. I’d like to personally recommend the miso steak, miso seabass, and the tuna tartare.
Atlas – On Valentine’s Day, the crème de la crème of prix fixe menus can be found at Atlas (located inside of the St. Regis Hotel). Caviar, foie gras, triggerfish, and Wagyu ribeye are among the richly decadent options available on their special menu, which can be viewed here. At $150 per person, V-Day dinner at Atlas is sure to be an experience to remember for a lifetime. (That was me dropping a hint to all the guys popping the big question on V-Day)
