As lovely as the classic margarita may be, it’s nice to switch it up sometimes. With Cinco de Mayo right around the corner why not use the holiday to experiment with a few unique margarita recipes and maybe a few other tequila-based cocktails? Well, in case you need a little extra motivation when it comes to checking out the Cinco de Mayo-inspired drink recipes listed below, I’ve decided to also incorporate a giveaway into today’s Cinco de Mayo post. Crave Chili’rita (Pictured Above)
1 part JDK&Sons™ Crave Chocolate Chili Liqueur
2 parts Sauza® Blue Silver Tequila
3 parts Sweet and Sour Mix
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass over ice and shake. Strain into a margarita glass with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.
1 part(s) Pinnacle® Whipped® Vodka
1 part(s) Sauza® tequila
4 part(s) Sauza® margarita mix
Rim glass with rock sugar. Shake tequila and margarita mix with ice. Pour into glass filled with ice and float with Pinnacle® Whipped®.
1 Slice of Fresh Papaya
¼ oz. Agave Nectar
1 ¼ oz. Avión Añejo
½ oz. Aperol
½ oz. Orange Juice
¾ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Garnish with Fresh Papaya
Add a slice of fresh papaya and agave nectar to your mixing glass. Muddle to release the papaya flavor. Combine ingredients in shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain over ice, and garnish with a fresh slice of papaya.
1.5 oz KAPPA Pisco
0.5 oz Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge
0.5 oz agave nectar
1 oz fresh lime juice
Shaken, strained over fresh ice into rocks glass, garnish lime wheel.
1 1/2 parts Milagro tequila
1 part Solerno
3/4 part fresh squeezed lime juice
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain over fresh ice into a salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with an orange wheel and a lime wheel.
2 parts Milagro Reposado Tequila
¾ parts Milagro Agave Nectar
1 part Fresh Lime Juice
4 Pineapple Chunks
2 Basil Leaves
Muddle pineapple and basil leaves in a Boston shaker glass. Add remaining ingredients and shake vigorously with ice. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish with pineapple and basil.
