Drink Recipes: Sweeten Up Your Cocktail With Help From Smirnoff’s New “Iced Cake” & “Kissed Caramel” Flavors

Late last week I had the opportunity to sample Smirnoff’s newest flavor profiles, Kissed Caramel and Iced Cake, at an exclusive event at Atlanta’s World Of Coke and if you’re a fan of dessert-inspired cocktails then you’re going to absolutely love these drinks featured at the event. I was able to sip on both the tropical fruit-laced “Upside-Down Cake” and the sinfully sweet “Kissed Caramel Appletini” and it was pretty surprising how similar they tasted to the desserts they’re named after especially the “Kissed Caramel Appletini.” I’ve included the recipe for both cocktails below as well as the “Iced Strawberry Shortcake” cocktail which is made using Smirnoff’s Iced Cake flavor.

Upside-Down Cake

INGREDIENTS

2 oz. SMIRNOFF® Iced
Cake Flavored Vodka
1 oz. Orange juice
1 oz. Pineapple juice
Top off with club soda

DIRECTIONS

Garnish with sprinkles, cherry and an orange slice.

Kissed Caramel Appletini

INGREDIENTS

2 oz. SMIRNOFF® Kissed
Caramel Flavored Vodka
1.5 oz. Apple juice
.25 oz. lemon juice
.25 oz. simple syrup

DIRECTIONS

Shake all ingredients & strain into martini glass. Garnish with thin apple slices and a caramel rim.

Iced Strawberry Shortcake

INGREDIENTS

3 fresh strawberries
2 oz. SMIRNOFF® Iced Cake
Flavored Vodka
2 oz. lemonade
.5 oz. amaretto liqueur

DIRECTIONS

Muddle the strawberries and vodka. Add the lemonade, amaretto and a little  ice to the cocktail shaker. Shake briefly but vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish rim of glass with a half\strawberry, if desired.
